Learn how to build a wood-fired pizza oven from scratch in this one day course. Anyone can build a cob or clay oven – you don’t need any previous building experience to take part in this course.

The build a pizza oven course will cover all the essentials you need to know:

  • A full safety assessment and discussion about where to site your oven.
  • The best wood to use for cooking.
  • Air flow and designs of cob ovens, including sizes.
  • Different materials you can use to build a wood-fired oven and how to source them.
  • Paddling the clay, building your cob oven and making a door.
  • The firing process.

Wood fired ovens have been in existence for thousands of years and cob or clay ovens have been found all over the world. Whether you’re making pizza or bread we know that nothing can beat that authentic wood-fired taste.
