Cider and Perry Blossom Trails

See the apple and pear blossom in Herefordshire's orchards along Marcle Ridge.
9th May 2020 - 10th May 2020

For an afternoon, a day or a full weekend – the Big Apple is a special opportunity to enjoy the spring countryside in the Herefordshire parishes on the Marcle Ridge. The local orchards are famous for their cider fruit and their excellent eating apples.

Many of the trees should be in full blossom ready for the weekend.

Because this year the May Day bank holiday has been moved to a Friday we are having to make significant changes to our normal programme.

The Cider and Perry Trials will take place on Saturday 9th May 2020 and the usual Blossomtime programme will now all happen on Sunday 10th May 2020 due to the changing of the early May Bank Holiday. The opening times on Sunday 10th will be extebded to try and make up to some extent for the loss of the Monday. We are not planning to have any events on Friday 8th as there will be VE Day commemorations taking place at Putley Parish Hall.
