It’s the biggest night of the year and the perfect excuse to get dressed up, sip cocktails and dance your way into 2020.
 
Arrive in The Ballroom at 7.30pm to be greeted with an apéritif and canapés. A splendid three-course dinner is followed by live music and a disco from 'The Lucky 88's'. Then, herald in the New Year with a glass of fizz while watching the fireworks from the Ballroom Terrace.
 
Dress code is black tie and dancing continues until 1.00am.
 
£110.00 per person.
 

In The Oak Room

Your evening starts with an apéritif and canapés in the stylish surroundings of the Oak Room, followed by a superb three-course dinner.
 
£80.00 per adult.
 

In The Foxhunter Bar

Drop in and celebrate the New Year with a glass of champagne or a pint of ale in the relaxed, charming surroundings of the Foxhunter Bar. Reservations are not required - a menu featuring our favourite bar snacks will be available.
 

In The Après Ski Bar

 
Join the House Party in the Après Ski Bar. Free entry, shots at midnight and music until late.

Directions

There is a mainline railway station, just South of the town, coming from London and Cardiff via Newport, and the North via Hereford. The railway station is a 10 - 15 minute walk from the hotel.

South of the town, the A4042 from Cardiff meets the A465 from the North and the A40 from the West. Coming into Abergavenny the main road turns right in front of the Angel. You can turn left by the side of the Hotel. At the top of the narrow lane go right and the car park entrance is immediately on the right.

The hotel car park is at the rear of the hotel. If full, use the very reasonably priced large public car park opposite (No charges apply here after 5pm or on Sunday's).

The A40 is our main approach road. Motorway standard, it links with the North-South dual-carriageway, 10 miles East. from the Midlands via Ross-on-Wye on the M50, or from London and the East, via the Severn bridges, on the M4 (junction 24).

It is a one hour drive from Cardiff and Bristol airports, 90mins. from Birmingham airport, and 2 hrs. 20mins. from Heathrow
