Spoon Making Workshop

Lead by Go Wild Director and whittling wizard, Jackie Roby, this one-day course will teach you the skills to select, spilt and saw a tree branch to create a ‘blank’, the block of wood from which you will whittle your spoon.

Throughout the day you will learn whittling techniques as well as tips and tricks of how to design and create your very own spoon.By the end of the day you will be a dab hand at using a pruning saw, bill hook, whittling knife and hook knife and you will have your very own spoon to take home with you.

We will provide a light lunch, tea, coffee and other refreshments during the day to keep you fuelled but feel free to bring your own snacks too if you have a big appetite.

The course will take place at The Snug at Go Wild HQ in Brockweir, NP16 7NQ
