Walk the Wales Coast Path 870 miles

On 5 May 2012, The Wales Coast Path, the longest continuous coastal path around a country, was launched. The path, some 870 miles, starts or finishes  in Chepstow. Base yourself in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, and walk the 6 miles from Chepstow to Blackrock Picnic Site, taking in great views of the Wye and Severn estuary, together with the majestic Severn Bridge and Second Severn Crossing. For a longer walk, push on through the Gwent levels, a haven of flora and fauna, towards Newport.
