Perrygrove Railway & Treetop Adventure
Attraction in or near Coleford

There’s more to do at Perrygrove Railway and Treetop Adventure!

Children excitedly explore houses up in the trees, climb the playframe under cover, build dens in the woods, and squeeze through secret passages in the indoor village – treasure is hidden here! Younger kids love the big Brio trainset.

Adults enjoy woodland trails, vintage carriages including the Churchill saloon, and engine shed visits (when staff are available).

Our café prices are reasonable. There are lots of picnic tables in the open and under cover. No charge for extra rides and plenty to do, sunny or showers!

17th December 2011 - 5 very young Grandchildren to a Santa Special? Nah! But so glad that we decided to do it yesterday and there was something for all ages, young and old, excellent reception on a cold, dark evening, lovely train ride to meet Jack Frost and a vist from Santa himself at the station accompanied by his elves - lovely storytelling and then excellent presents - what more could an Old Fella ask for! The indoor staff were very attentive and the footplate and train staff all made this a memorable event in the lead up to Christmas....I can highly recommend it. JD Newnham-on-Severn

Another excellent day out at Perrygrove. We visited this attraction last year whilst on holiday and our boys were keen to visit again. We spent the whole day here going up and down on the train and playing in the 3 different play areas. The boys enjoyed looking for the clues for the treasure hunt, but the highlight of the day was the visit to the engine shed and being able to see the engines up close & ask questions. Staff all very helpful, friendly and professional - if you or your children like trains then you have to visit Perrygrove.

We had a wonderful day at Perrygrove Railway. We took our 2 year old grandaughter on bank holiday Monday and it was a really special day out. We all loved the train and getting on and off to play in the woods and the play areas was a delight; we appreciated no extra charges for extra train rides. The little houses next to the coffee area were magical and so well maintained and safe for little ones. We would recommend it to all and it is well worth the entance fee. We will be bringing our 5 year old grandaughter soon so she can take part in the treasure hunt. Thank you to for creating a really lovely experience at a very sensible price.

Went today 29th August 2011 and had a great time. My three year old loved the playgrounds and train ride and I think my nine month old enjoyed it too! Nice touch with the treasure hunt especially when finding the locker. Not too packed for a Bank Holiday and our visit lasted approx. 2.5 hours including a coffee and cake, which was fairly priced. Little piece of history about the miniture gauge railways on show too.
