Amazing location by the river! Great outdoor spaces with various seating options. Cosy and warm accommodation. Well designed spaces, very clean, simple decor and uncluttered throughout. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen - welcome pack much appreciated. Close to hand ferry for access to Symonds Yat East. Would definately stay again if visiting the area in the future.

A beautiful conversion providing well laid out and homely accommodation for both of us AND the dog - who loved the underfloor heating!

We hope to come back in slightly warmer weather (being here over New Year 2010!) - and to take full advantage of the beautiful view over the River Wye, and the garden seating areas (so many to choose from!) - and possibly a barbecue too!

We have had three holidays in the UK in 2010 in various areas and this accommodation was without doubt the best!

The Old Pump house was very well equiped, clean and very comfortable. the garden was very well maintained with stunning views.

The area is ideal for walking and exploring the Wye Valley and the Forrest of Dean. We enjoyed staying the West side as it was more peaceful but very easy to access the East by either a short walk or the pull ferry.

Our two dogs had a fantastic time as well and we hope to revisit next year.

Had an excellent 4 day break in June, weather very good. The Pump House is wonderful, spacious and with lovely views. Would certainly recommend it to friends and will visit again in the future.

Once again we have had a highly enjoyable and relaxing time here at Symonds Yat. The Old Pump House is very clean, warm and comfortable, just what you need when you've spent the afternoon exploring a ruined Welsh Castle in the driving rain!
