Longwood cottage is a excellent location in beautifull countryside - really relaxing.

This traditional cottage is very wellcoming, comfortable and comes fully equiped for all your needs, including wifi, with a very modern bathroom and kitchen.

From the comfortable lounge or balcony you can watch all the different wildlife while enjoying a relaxing glass of wine. Or you can explore the interesting walks within the owners gounds and the surrounding countryside.

There are excellent local pubs offering good local food if you do not wish to cook. You are also a short distance from Ross and Hereford to visit or take a drive into the welsh mountains.

We had a fantastic stay and will visit Longwood again!

A beautifully quiet place with outstanding views. Ideal for spring and autumn walks across open country or through wooded areas. The accommodation was a warm homely cottage with outstanding views from the balcony or through the French windows. The bathroom suite is up to hotel standards and the kitchen contained all the pots & pans you need. Good local pubs with real ale & excellent bar food.
An idyllic location with a warm welcome.

Herefordshire has been called the county of little green hills and streams and Longwood Cottage is set in this truly idyllic countryside. The cottage is delightful, extremely well equiped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Ken and Veronica are lovely hosts who immediately made us very welcome, including our two Black Labrador dogs.

The views from the cottage are spectacular and the many walks in the secluded countryside are a wonderful and fascinating experience.

THe towns of Hereford, Ross-on-Wye, Hay-on Wye and Leominster are all within easy driving distance as well as the Black Mountains that form the border with Wales.

Many thanks Ken and Veronica - we hope you will have us again!

We will visit this place time and time again. Longwood Cottage is set in a glorious location with walks and views a plenty. It truly is a special place, tucked away in the heart of Herefordshire countryside. Away from any trace of hustle and bustle of urban living. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and it provides a truly comfortable stay. The cottage is incredibly well-equipped and provides all from wine glasses to wifi.
Walks in the properties woodland offer you chances to see deer along with so much birdlife. Local pubs offer great eating out options but I enjoyed eating on the sundeck, taking in the magnificent view and drinking in the peace and quiet.

Longwood Cottage is a little piece of Paradise.
Well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean, surrounded by beautiful peaceful countryside and space, plus a private wood to walk in on the doorstep, we really couldn't ask for more.
Our dogs (standard and toy poodles) adored it and, at the end of our stay( when we are usually quite keen to get home to Cornwall) we were all very sad to have to leave.
Our hosts were warm and welcoming - even their dogs and ours became good friends!
We will most certainly return - there's still so much to see and do in the area.
