One of the most welcoming places we've ever stayed - a wonderful stay, and our hosts couldn't have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. I can't praise this wonderful B&B highly enough, it's a truly fantastic place to stay, and family and children freindly to the enth degree. Our 6 year old son is continually demanding that we go back, which we certaintly will. Andy and Ali are the perfect hosts, and really can't do enough to make your stay memorable. There is nothing to fault - the welcome, the standard of accomodation, the food, the local knowledge, the recommedations made by Andy and Ali for things to do and places to eat - faultless, really faultless. I have to rate this from 1 to 5, 5 being excellent. I'll have to give a 5, but I'd like to give a 10!

I can't recommend Green Whale Tump enough! A cleverly designed B&B in a beautiful, peaceful location with outstanding views across the valley to Goodrich Castle.

The timber-clad building in the photo purely houses B&B accommodation and unusually, on the ground floor is lounge/dining area just for the use of guests. The lounge is well stocked with books & dvds.

Ali & Andi gave us a very warm welcome & went the extra mile to make our family's visit truly memorable.

It was a beautiful sunny weekend and we were encouraged to enjoy the garden & even provided with garden toys for the kids.

The food was delicious & in addition to breakfast, we also enjoyed afternoon tea & packed lunches.

I can imagine that it would be ideal for anyone wanting to walk/canoe the Forest of Dean/Wye Valley.
