We visited the Penny Farthing yesterday evening, the B&B we were staying in recommended it and we can say that we were not dissapointed. The pub is a stunning building and so clean inside, the staff greeted us with a big smile and a genuine interest in talking about our stay in the area, she even helped plan our day out today. The food was just beautiful, I had the duck which was cooked just right my wife had the large cod and chips what a whale! The desserts were truely sinful and delicious!
We whole heartedly recommend the Penny to any visitors in the area, you wont be dissapointed.

We stopped at The Penny Farthing for an evening meal, what a lovely pub, so warm and welcoming. The staff were excellent with some really helpful info on the local area. The food was just what the doctor ordered, we had the pie of the day whick was one of the best we have ever had, well done to everyone at the Penny Farthing
