Fantastic! We visited the Tearoom twice during our week's stay in the area and only wished we stayed locally! This tearoom is superb both inside with it's beams and quaintness and the little garden outside. The staff are so friendly and helpful. This is the first place we have found that accommodated our dairy free son - he adored the chocolate cake so much so that after each visit we had to buy an extra piece to take away! Even when we had our lunch there, our son could also choose something soya based without having to worry. Eating out with an allergy is a nightmare and a lot of places do not seem to understand this. We only wish all places to eat out were as good as The Old Dairy Tearoom. All the staff should be commended on their attitude to this and the provision they make for people with allergies. If we stayed locally I am sure this would be top of our list! A truly wonderful place to visit.

I visited The Old Dairy Tea Room a few days ago with my mother and I loved the fact that it was all so quaint. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I had a cheese and bacon sandwich, with thick chunky bread, and a great slab of cheese and lovely fat-free bacon served with beetroot and parsnip crisps and home-made coleslaw, delicious. I hac a cup of Earl Grey tea with it which came in a china cup seved with milk in a jug and cubed sugar with tongs. It was lovely inside the Tea Room with old beams and a dresser with crockery and teapots on it, and in the background was some old-fashioned music which added to the ambience. The service was very good. I just couldn't fault it, and the price was reasonable too. All in all a really pleasant, relaxing place to eat, and they have an outside area where you can eat too. And the toilets were clean and tidy !! I couldn't fault the place. I highly recommend a visit.

It is such a pleasure to visit the Old Dairy Tearoom. The staff are extremely pleasant and very accomodating. The menu variety is good and the prices are very reasonable and the food is out of this world! SundayLunches are piping hot and extemely tasty! The soups are a favourite of mine. The Tearoom itself is spotlessly clean, charming and attention to detain realy does show. Managemant are lovely and always ask if everything was ok. Will visit again. (Steven Forest of Dean)
