Red Hart Inn, Blaisdon - Camra Pub of the Year
The Red Hart Inn, Blaisdon has been awarded pub of the year 2019 by the Forest of Dean branch of Camra. The winner of this prestigious title is voted for by members of Camra who assess on beer quality, atmosphere and more.
The Red Hart is a traditional country pub with flagstone floors, low beamed ceilings and cosy wood burning stove. Landlady Sharon Hookings is delighted to win, saying “it’s great to be recognised for all our hard work, I’m so proud of all my team here& extremely grateful to all those who voted for us.” Sharon took over the pub in 2012 & since then has been awarded pub of the year by Camra three times.
The Forest branch of Camra enjoyed a jolly evening at the Red Hart on Thursday, 7th March, when they presented the award.
