The Anchor Inn is situated alongside the River Wye, with the stunning backdrop of Tintern Abbey.
Dating back to 12th Century, with the addition of our Garden Room Conservatory that was recently completed to improve the facilities available to visitors and houses our Tearooms that operate between March and October.
Our menus offer a cuisine of excellent local produce along with a range of locally brewed ales, beers and ciders.
We welcome children who have their own play area in a section of our beautiful, extensive gardens. Walkers and their dogs are also welcome along with coach parties or private functions.
We offer a wide variety of catering, from a simple slice of handmade cake, to paninis, traditional pub food dishes such as Local Ale Battered Fish & Chips or a fine dining experience in the evenings including dishes such as Madgetts Farm Duck Breast, sweet potato mash, mangetout and a raspberry Jus, or Chargilled Local Pork Loin Chop, black pudding mash, buttered savoy cabbage, Soya & Honey Glazed Pork belly of Pork.
