Rachel Shilston is a mosaic & mural artist, plus creative facilitator, based in the beautiful Forest of Dean.
If you are looking for an alternative activity to do whilst on holiday, then perhaps consider a creative mosaic workshop in Rachel's studio.
Rachel is based at Hanley Farm on the A48 near Chepstow and can cater for small, family groups to large parties. Whether a group of children, adults, friends or family, a creative mosaic workshop can provide some relaxing down time, between the all-important sightseeing. Mosaic is the perfect medium to allow people to come together to make something special, either individually or collaboratively, as a lasting memory of their stay in the Forest of Dean. Rachel can tailor-make sessions to suit most ages and abilities - just get in touch to discuss your requirements. Her studio has ample parking, plus shares the site with a beautiful organic farm and coffee shop. Alternatively, she can deliver a creative mosaic workshop in the comfort of your holiday accomodation.
Sessions can cater for couples, small groups or families. All materials and tuition supplied, but pre-booking is essential.
Rachel also produces bespoke artwork for private and corporate clients and has her own product range available to buy. When not creating her own artwork, Rachel also facilitates mosaic workshops for all ages and abilities, to schools, community groups, organisations and at festivals. Look out for her mosaic displayed at the visitor centre at Beechenhurst Lodge, created by members of the public at a Forestry Commission Activity Day.
Gift vouchers are available for both Rachel’s products and workshops.
