Forest Oak Farm, near Lydney in Gloucestershire, is a dog centred, family run estate specialising in canine training, holidays and activities . Opened in 2012 and set out over twenty acres of fields, lakes and woodland with many mature trees; the Farm is a spacious, welcoming haven for dog friendly holidays and events as well as a family home.

At Forest Oak Farm we understand that your dog is just as important as any other member of your family and that you wouldn't feel right going on holiday without them. All of the accommodation we provide allows you to do just that!

We have one wheelchair friendly Cottage for those less able. The cottage offers wide access doors, low light switches, walk in shower and ramp entry to the cottage. 

Rosie Lea (Sleeps up to 4)
Perfect for a family holiday in the Forest of Dean this spacious cottage has two bedrooms (a double and a twin) and a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room with Flatscreen TV. Private fenced patio area. Single storey with allocated parking. Bathroom with large shower. Run on Solar energy and serviced by a eco-friendly waste system.

Cherry Blossom (Sleeps up to 4)
A delightful cosy cottage for four people, two bedrooms (a double and a twin) with spacious living/dining area with Flatscreen TV and well equipped modern kitchen. Single storey with allocated parking but sadly no wheelchair access. Also with private, contained patio area looking out over the valley.

Perry Pears (Sleeps up to 4)
Perry Pears is the largest of our cottages, the ideal versatile accommodation for families or couples wanting to get away. Double bed in first bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds. This lovely cottage's spacious kitchen, dining and living area enjoy a garden view. Private parking space and contained patio area for your canine companions. This cottage has full Wheelchair Access and boasts separate shower/wet room.

From the North and East:
North - (Down M5)/East (via A417/A40, joining the M5): Exit M5 at Junction 11a, 11 or follow A417 towards Gloucester. Follow the signs for Ross/A40/A48, until you join the A40.
Pass through a series of traffic lights until you reach the Highnam roundabout, where you take the 1st exit onto A48 towards Chepstow and the Forest of Dean. Follow the A48 through Minsterworth, Westbury on Severn, Newnham and Blakeney.
When you come out of Blakeney, pass through the Nibley crossroads and keep going for approx. 1mile. You will reach a small section of dual carriageway on the brow of a hill. The Farm gates are on the right about 410 meters on from the end of the dual carriageway, opposite The Willows (Big White House).

From Wales:
M48 Junction 2, take the A466 exit to A48/Chepstow/Cas-gwent. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Wye Valley Link Rd/A466.
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Newport Rd/A48. Follow the A48 through Chepstow, Alyburton and Alvington (approx 12 miles).
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Gloucester. Drive straight over the next two roundabouts.
Drive straight, past the turning to Coleford on your left. Keep straight for approx 150m and the entrance to the Farm is on the left, opposite The Willows (Big White House).

From The South:
M5 Junction 15, exit onto M4. Keep in the left hand lane and head off the M4 onto M48 after 2.1miles. Continue over the Severn Road Bridge.
Then follow the above instructions from Wales. Please note there is a one-way Toll charge on the inward journey via this route (not on the return journey). If you wish to avoid the Toll follow the M5 towards the North until you reach Junction 11, then follow the instructions from the North.

By Train:
The closest train stations is just a couple of miles away just outside Lydney. We can provide details of local Taxi Services is required.
