Danby Lodge 4*
Danby cottage has 2 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a super king size bed that can be split to make twin beds if required. Bedroom 2 has twin beds that can be joined together to make a double. the lodge still retains many original features such as oak beams, stone walling and flag stone floors which now have the benefit of under floor heating! There is a large open plan lounge and dining room with a flat screen TV, DVD, Wi-Fi and for your extra comfort reclining sofa and arm chair. There are bike anchor points outside each lodge to lock bikes up safely.
Tastefully converted from the existing 1675 barn, Danby Lodge is the ideal base for couples, families and friends. Set in a secluded rural location, our off-the-beaten-track accommodation is bordered by fields and woodland. Each of the three lodges has it’s own specific qualities.
Worcester Lodge is a lovely site, tucked away in a clearing in the Forest of Dean, it is quiet, secluded and totally surrounded by forest but at the same time really convenient for the many attractions that can be found in the Royal Forest of Dean, such as the family cycle route, the sculpture trail, Hopewell colliery, Bells golf club, Forest Hills Golf Club, Puzzle Wood, Perrygrove, Steam Railway at Park End, Go Ape, The Museum of Crime, Symonds Yat, Canoe Centre, Cycle Centre, Cannop Ponds to name but a few.
It is one of the most historic buildings in the Royal Forest of Dean. The conversion from barns into holiday cottages was done with great care to preserve the original features.
