No 1 & 2 The Foundry are two semi-detached holiday lets in a renovated stone building (formerly a foundry) with a contemporary feel.  The Foundry is situated in the centre of Parkend and has ample car parking.  The steam railway runs directly behind The Foundry; from the patio you get a first class view of the steam engines.  Cycle tracks and the RSPB nature reserve are in the village too!

The Foundry offers comfort and space within the village of Parkend, centrally located in the Forest of Dean.  The amenities within the walking distance are a cycle hire/café, 2 pubs (both serving food), a Post Office/shop, cricket field and an amazing choice of walks and cycleways.

Both No 1 and 2 can sleep 6 and are rated as 4 star by the English Tourism Board.  The interiors are contemporary with well-equipped oak kitchen and utility room, downstairs WC and spacious lounge diner.  Furnished with soft leather sofas, oak furniture and flat screen TV and DVD player.

Upstairs the three bedrooms are spacious and comfortable; Egyptian linen is provided.  The bathroom and en-suite have large walk-in showers.

Patio furniture and BBQ are provided to relax after a day of exploring!
