With lovely views across the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, this cosy, quiet and  surprisingly spacious cottage is stylishly furnished and equipped to a high standard.  On the edge of the historic village of St.Briavels it has one of the best locations in the area, between Symonds Yat and Tintern Abbey. You can take numerous walks right from your front door.  Walk down to the River Wye; through ancient woods thick with bluebells in Spring; or across open fields with glorious views of the surrounding countryside. You might even try part of the Offa’s Dyke or Wye Valley footpaths. After your walk, it’s only a 300-yard stroll to the local pub, next to the castle.  If you enjoy cycling, there’s secure storage and information to help you explore the cycle routes through the forest

If you prefer to stay by the cottage, you have access to six acres of fields. Alternatively you might just want to enjoy a drink in the cottage courtyard, watching the sunset over the distant Brecon Beacons.
