We are an award-winning family-run business situated on the picturesque banks of the River Severn. In October 2017 we opened our new venue The Barn which houses a restaurant, cafe, food hall, gift shop, smokery and one of the country's finest fresh fish counters.
Our Head Chef is Mark Stinchcombe, winner of BBC MasterChef: The Professionals, leads the kitchen team. The cafe and restaurant menus are predominantly fish based and we use a lot of our own cured and smoked products in the dishes. The first floor restaurant, bar and state-of-the-art kitchen is open-plan and spans the entire first floor. The menus are based on the best quality fresh seasonal ingredients and cooked to perfection but with restraint. The kitchen has a Josper grill which is great for barbecuing fish on the bone and a plancha grill for quickly searing and caramelising fillets of fish, scallops and crevettes. We also have great Longhorn cattle steaks and Cotswolds lamb. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal but always professional.
The food hall is stocked with many of our own products created on site by our team of chefs, such as, smoked salmon, gravadlax, pates, quiches, salad, fishcakes, and puddings. We also support and stock other local food heroes produce as well as a selection of high quality international suppliers. The fish on the counters is super fresh and mainly sourced from the Shetland Islands and the Brixham markets from day boats. The gift shop has stylish range of homeware, jewellery and fashion accessories.
