Description

Seven Hills Hideaway - Luxury Glamping

Relax… unwind… escape

The luxury lodges, Skirrid Fawr, Blorenge (May 2016) and Sugar Loaf (May 2016) are designed, furnished and equipped to make your stay luxurious… They are on-grid enough to provide all the creature comforts you need (for drying your hair, charging your phone or powering up your mobile devices); yet off-grid enough to help you recharge your personal batteries.

Our aim is to provide a special place where you can enjoy a simpler, slower pace of life; a place to relax, unwind and escape from the hustle, bustle and stresses of modern day living.

Your creature comforts are very important too, provided by little touches like luxurious cotton bedlinen and towels, snuggly down duvets, comfy sofas and complimentary toiletries. There’s a private verandah, fully equipped kitchen and even a heated shower room. The style is luxury country-chic, but this is still glamping, so you’ll still have the fun of cooking on a traditional log burning stove and sleeping under canvas (albeit in a proper bed!).

Skirrid Fawr is special to us… it’s the first of our lodges to open… we hope you love it just as much as we do.

Each Lodge offers you...

  • 3 double bedrooms (1 king size, 1 twin & 1 double sleeping cabin)
  • Open plan living, with a dining and lounge space large enough for 6, cosy enough for 2
  • Kitchen: fully equipped for 6, complete with fridge, crockery, cutlery and all kitchen essentials
  • Cooking and heating from a traditional (and very effective) log burner
  • Mini gas ring for that morning cuppa!
  • Heated shower room
  • Spacious washroom with basin, toilet, mirrors and complimentary toiletries
  • Front verandah with view
  • Rear verandah for extra storage
  • Hot tub

Included in your stay....

  • Luxury bed linen and towels
  • Electricity supply suitable for smaller appliances
  • Logs for the log burner
  • Mini toiletries
  • BBQ
  • Games and books
  • Welcome goodies
  • On-site parking, with short transfer across the fields to the lodge

Sadly we cannot accept dogs in Skirrid Fawr or Sugar Loaf - we do accept up to two well behaved dogs in the Blorenge at an additional charge.  All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times as there is livestock on the farm. (Terms & Conditions apply)

Available for full weeks, long weekends and mid-week breaks; shorter breaks maybe available by arrangement too… simply give me a call.

Seven Hills Hideaway is sited on a 16th century farm, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park – one of only five International Dark Sky Reserves in the world – our lodges are nestled in the quiet, rolling Monmouthshire countryside, but far from isolated. You can ‘stay away from it all’, walking the hills, exploring the valleys, discovering hidden gems; or you can take in our towns and cities. We’re just 4 miles from Abergavenny, with its Michelin starred eateries and famous festivals of food and cycling. Monmouth, Hay-on-Wye, Hereford; even Cardiff, Bristol and Bath are all within easy reach.

More locally, Offa’s Dyke passes close by, we have ruined Norman castles, a 13th century inn, historic churches and cider mills, even a vineyard to visit too. Here on the farm there’s 110 acres for you to explore, with ancient cider orchards, rolling pastures and a meandering stream, all full of wildlife.

It’s a very special place; we’d love to share it with you.
