Imagine a holiday where your children have the freedom to be children... a holiday where the night sky is so dark you can see the Milky Way and the only noises are a babbling brook and birdsong. That's what you'll find at Hidden Valley Yurts. Set in 80 acres of meadow and woodland, our beautiful Mongolian yurts await you.
At Hidden Valley Yurts
We provide luxury eco-friendly yurt camping holidays for couples, families, groups and Corperat/Team building events. Glamping (as it's often called) is a perfect get away holiday break offering guests a chance to enjoy the simplicity of a camping holiday without having to pitch their own tent . The felt lined yurts with their wood burning stoves are warm and cosy whatever the weather. A comfortable king size bed and some beautifully decorated Mongolian furniture create a relaxing and luxurious (but quirky) holiday home. Hidden Valley Yurts is all about peace and quiet – no loud music, no gift shops...just the sound of the stream and the birds and the occasional bit of mooing from our highland cattle.
Located in the stunning countryside of the Wye Valley
Hidden Valley Yurts is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our 80 acre valley is a stunning mix of species rich wild flower meadows, ancient woodland and coppiced hazel which provides a habitat for a wide diversity of wildlife. Deer, badgers and foxes share the valley with our sheep (Wiltshire Horns and the cheeky Soay which can be mistaken for goats or small deer). Rare butterflies, birds and insects abound and the gently babbling brook which runs through the valley (alongside the yurt field) attracts kingfishers, herons and dippers.

Green Tourism... the new black!
We are passionate about sustainability... but that doesn’t mean we expect you to suffer for our beliefs...its your holiday and we are happy to look after our bit of the planet, while you relax and enjoy it. Behind the scenes we are working hard to be as environmentally sustainable as we can – all the wood that has been used to build the decks has been localy sourced. The off cuts are are split into kindling for the log burner inside your yurt. The water is heated by solar – but there is electric back up on cloudy days. We have our own spring water, which is filtewater for all our needs (even the flushing loos flush with natural welsh spring water). The buzzing of the bees, the singing of the birds and hooting of the owls all confirm we are on the right path.
We’d love to share it with you...
