This wonderfully spacious campsite is located on the edge of the Forest of Dean nestled among majestic oaks, stunning copper beech and tall pine trees. It is one of the largest Camping in the Forest sites, offering 520 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes plus five new camping pods, perfect for protection from the elements all year round.
Despite being surrounded by the forest, Bracelands is a relatively open campsite, and offers gorgeous panoramic views of the countryside. There are numerous scenic walks, circular routes, long distance paths, waymarked trails and cycle paths available to explore, with the famous Symond’s Yat only two miles away and the River Wye just over half an hour’s walk.
Just five minutes’ drive away from the campsite is the market town of Coleford, which has a Tesco Express and a small Co-op, take away eateries, pubs and restaurants. There are also a number of village inns that serve a wide variety of delicious and traditional dishes.
Pitch types at Bracelands
There are 520 pitches at Bracelands which is now open all year. Pitch types are made up of standard grass and hardstanding pitches, grass with electric and hardstanding with electric.
There are also five camping pods on site which sleep 2 adults and 2 children. Perfect for a family’s first camping trip, the pods minimise set up time and give a little extra protection from the elements, complete with built-in heaters.
