Two character cottages in the grounds of the Old Manor located in the riverside village of Twyning. Available all year round, we have no fixed start days for either holidays or short breaks so you can choose what’s best for you. Both cottages are well-equipped and fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing break – including freshly baked homemade bread, cakes and preserves on arrival. Each cottage has its own driveway with plenty of parking and private garden. We are happy to welcome children from age 12.
The Old Manor smallholding is home to Nick and Sue Lambert plus our flock of Ryeland sheep, small collection of chickens and has a traditional old apple orchard. In addition to the cottage gardens there is a guests picnic area in orchard - a great place to sit and watch the local wildlife. We personally manage and clean the cottages to ensure a consistently high standard and are always happy to provide help or local advice as required.
Just a few minutes stroll from the cottages is Twyning Village Stores – open all week and really well stocked with fresh and local produce. The Village Inn on the green serves food and is within 10 minutes easy walking distance.
