Biblins youth campsite is a back-to basics campsite for children and young people. Nestled in a secluded part of the Wye valley, the 18 acre site hugs the river Wye and is surrounded by acres of ancient woodland. Whether your focus is a social group camp or educational school visit, Biblins offers access to one of the finest areas for outdoor learning in the country.

Woodcraft Folk

Woodcraft Folk run the Biblins Youth Campsite and are an educational movement for children and young people, designed to develop self-confidence and activity in society, with the aim of building a world based on equality, friendship, peace and cooperation.

Camp Koodoo

Camping facilities that take the effort out of camping. We have 4 large Bell tents, to accommodate 32 young people plus 2 leaders’ tents. A marquee for dining and a fully equipped field kitchen. Camp Koodoo is ideal for groups without equipment or would like the ease of having it all set up.

The Burrow

Unique, 19 bed, purpose built accommodation. The Burrow is built into the hillside and the oak frame roof rolls back to allow you to sleep under the stars. It has a large wood burner, basic kitchen, dining / group area and toilet. A wonderful safe environment that brings the outside inside. Herfs Barn a traditional oak framed building there’s space to cook and seat groups of up to 30 people undercover. The large picnic benches, and BBQ offer the together.

Bunkhouse

A log cabin offering an indoor group room with wood burning stove, ideal for group activities on those cooler nights. The bunkhouse is not currently available for overnight accommodation.

Camping

18 acres of spacious, Wi-Fi free group camping, each pitch with its own campfire. Warm showers and toilet facilities.

River access and canoe launch point.

From the A40, Ross-on-Wye to Monmouth road, leave the dual carriage way at Crockers Ash, and follow the signs to Biblins Campsite. Note that access is via a single vehicle width track with passing places, which is unsuitable for coaches or vehicles over 6ft wide.

Special arrangements can be made for coaches to approach from the Gloucestershire side of the river via 3 miles of forestry track. This is a locked route and only available by prior arrangement with us. Your group will then need to carry their luggage over the suspension footbridge.
