Our 18th Century townhouse has been lovingly restored to provide a calm and relaxing environment from which to enjoy the delights of the Forest of Dean.
We have two bedrooms available for guests both with king size beds and armchairs in which to relax. This can be extended by an additional twin bedroom where for instance a family are happy to share the main bathroom. Our large en-suite bedroom has its own balcony where you can sit and look across the Severn Valley to the Cotswold Hills. It is spacious and has a large en-suite shower room. Our second bedroom has its own dedicated bath and shower room.
The Forest of Dean is a thriving area for food production, and the breakfasts that we provide use locally sourced food wherever possible. We also provide evening meals on request, and if you are interested, just let us know at the time of booking your stay.
We both love whisky and, while whisky is not something which one associates with the Forest of Dean, we have a whisky “snug” available to guests. We will provide a range of interesting and unusual whiskies which can be enjoyed in our calming “snug” where you can relax and read from our range of whisky themed books and magazines or simply watch the TV.
