With stunning views and easy access by car, bus or bicycle to the Dean's many attractions, Millers Farm is ideal for a holiday or short break in all seasons. Numerous footpaths from the farm lead to Blakeney Hill and the village, Soudley Valley and the River Severn.
Millers Farm is an Ecohome (almost carbon neutral) - we have solar voltaic generated electricity, solar hot water and a biomass boiler for the underfloor heating in the barn, fuelled by our own coppiced woodland.
Millers Farm offers self contained accommodation which can sleep 2 or 3 people. Next to the house, but completely self-contained, the unit is light and airy in summer but cosy in winter.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and electric oven.
Upstairs, there is a bed sitting room with a king size bed and single sofabed for a couple and child. Or the bed converts into 2 singles which, together with the sofabed, allows for 3 adults. There is also a cot for an infant.
There is a television, dvd, cd player and wifi.
Wonderful views across to the village and Severn Vale beyond
Visitors can enjoy walks straight from the farm. Quiet roads, cycle tracks and the many other attractions offered throughout the Dean are within easy reach. Parking in the yard is secure, as is storage for bicycles. Public transport is easy - trains to Lydney from Gloucester or South Wales linking to a bus which will drop you at the farm gate. There are also buses to Blakeney from Gloucester, Chepstow, Lydney and Cinderford.
Barnspace, next to the accommodation is used for teaching a variety of courses. Check our website for details of events.
