Looking for a romantic and peaceful getaway? You may just have found it! At Dean Cottages footpaths lead straight from your door and on for miles into the forest! We are surrounded by wildlife and have our own private hide in the garden. In summer there are pleanty of sunny spots to sit our and admire the amazing views across the valley to the woods. In winter you can snuggle up on the sofa in front of a roaring log fire instead (Robin and wren Cottages only). It is a true haven of peace and tranquility in which to unwind and reacharge your batteries.
Want to bring your doggie? It's the perfect holiday for a dog. Far from busy roads and with plenty of sniffs on the doorstep - what dog would not love it here? Your dog will be made to feel very welcome in either Wren Cottage or Little Owl, our studio apartment. And the best bit -pets go free at Dean Cottages! (max 2)
Robin and Wren Cottages are both old stone foresters' cottages with woodburners, and a double /king size bed with a comfy sofa bed in the lounge at Robin for 2 extra guests. There are heaters in everyroom, and electricty is included as well as a welcome pack of logs, fresh flowers, milk, teas /coffees, biscuits, hand soaps and a loo roll.
Little Owl is a modern, bright and airy studio appartment. The accommodation is open plan with kitchen, lounge- diner, bedroom and a separate spacious shower room. The accommodation is all on the same level and parking is within 10 meters. A welcome pack is also included as outlined above.
All units have use of designated laundry facilities. Good local amenities in Mitcheldean (3 miles) and convenient access from M50, M4 and M5. All three units are accessed via a single track road which ends in a rough unmade farm track. Access to Wren and Robin Cottage is on foot from the car park 30 meters down hill along a concrete path. Little Owl is 10 metres from the parking along a level graveled path.
