One of a handful of houses in the tiny hamlet of Etloe near Blakeney, Fairview Cottage is set beside a quiet rural lane and amply lives up to its name, having stunning views of the River Severn across fields the other side of the road. Sympathetically modernised to a high standard, the cottage offers very comfortable and surprisingly extensive accommodation, with easy access to all the attractions of The Forest of Dean.

The cottage is built on rising ground and the rooms are on three different levels. Some original features and many thoughtful touches make it a very pleasant and peaceful place to stay in this interesting and varied area.

  • Outside there are steps from the lane to a flagged terrace at the front of cottage. Access at side to large, private, lawned garden at rear, with patio area. There is a barbecue and a storage shed for bikes
