If you use a SatNav, turn it off when you get to the village or you will end up half a mile away.  If you use maps, beware that there are two Stauntons in Gloucestershire.  We are the one on the A4136, halfway between Monmouth and Coleford.

If you are coming from the Monmouth direction, turn right immediately you pass the sign for Stuanton, at the the brow of the hill on a turning marked as a dead end.  If you get as far as The White Horse, you have missed the turning.

If you are coming from the Coleford and Gloucester direction, stay on the A4136 until you have passed The White Horse.  Turn left at the next turning marked as a dead end.  If you start going down hill, you have missed it!

Either way, follow the road through a gate (which is rarely closed) and follow the wall on your left until you get to double wrought irn gates.  Turn in and park; you have arrived and The Buckstone House Coach House is on you right.
