Description

Churcham is a small village and civil parish in the Forest of Dean District of Gloucestershire in England, located 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Gloucester. It has a population of  approximately 650.

Churcham has two schools: Churcham Primary School, which is a small community school 6 miles from Gloucester with 59 pupils in two classes, and The School of the Lion, an independent Christian school, about 4 miles from Gloucester, for students aged 4-19.

There are a number of businesses situated in Churcham and the surrounding area. Churcham Business Park, completed in April 2004, provides a base for several.

Churcham is also an ideal countryside location for visiting the Vale of Leadon, The Forest of Dean and the city of Gloucester.

Churcham is a small, peaceful and secluded village on the very edge of the Forest of Dean district, just south of the A40 Gloucester to Ross-on-Wye road. The main attraction of the village is the church of St Andrew, which is one of the most distinctive churches in the area.
