My friends and I popped in to Aunt Martha's Tea Rooms this Saturday (5th May) and we absolutely loved it. We were down from London for the weekend, staying at a local cottage in Cinderford and stumbled across their website a few days before we came. 
 
The service was excellent, the food was even better but what made it so special was that it felt like we really had travelled back in time. 
 
I would whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

A visit to Aunt Martha's Victorian Tea Room is a MUST HAVE experience - delightful setting, perfect food (all home made), lovely gardens in which to take tea if weather is good and lovely, authentic inside tearoom if it is not. Aunt Martha herself is worth the trip - a very interesting, friendly and well informed lady who also does public speaking in a variety of guises, either at the tearoom or out in the community. Since going there for the first time I have returned with various visitors, all of whom have loved it and are determined to return with other visitors and friends. I cannot recommend this place and the lovely people who run it highly enough. Don't miss it!!
